I HAVE NEVER USED A SERVICE LIKE YOURS BEFORE, WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
You can expect an unforgettable and magical event! Our princesses and other characters provide entertainment for the party with many different activities and engaging personalities, so there is less stress for you, to have to worry about entertaining your royal guests.
WHAT DO I NEED TO SUPPLY FOR THE PRINCESS?
We bring all the supplies for our games and crafts so that you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy or even be there to catch those picture perfect moments.The most we will ever need is a small table and 2 chairs for doing makeovers or face painting. You are welcome to offer the Princess a glass of water to drink, but we do not eat while in character to maintain professionalism and to protect the costumes.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?
We generally try to park a little ways down the street, and walk up to the party, in case there are curious small eyes watching for the princess' arrival. We want the magic as real as possible, so we do not want the royal guests seeing the princess drive up in a car.
HOW DO I PAY MY REMAINING BALANCE OWED?
We typically request your remaining balance be paid in cash the day of your scheduled event, however if you would like us to invoice you for the total amount due, you may request us to do so.
WHAT IF THERE WILL BE BOYS AT MY PARTY? WILL THEY BE BORED?
All of our activities are fun for both girls and boys, and some boys are even just as excited about the Princesses as the girls are! If your package includes makeovers for the girls, the performer will also have with her some temporary tattoos for the boys at your party. Another option would be to add a Superhero character to your party to specifically cater to the boys. What could be better than having a Princess AND a Superhero arrive at your party and really wow your guests?!
CAN I TIP MY PRINCESS?
Yes! This is the perfect way to show your appreciation for her hard work and excellent performance! If you have two or more characters at your event, the tip will be split evenly between all performers. If you would like to pay your tip using your credit card, you can do so when paying your deposit with the invoice you will receive by email.
CAN I CHANGE MY PACKAGE ONCE I'VE ALREADY BOOKED?
Yes! As long as it doesn't interfere with our other parties scheduled, we can increase the amount of time the Princess is there, add another Princess, or even change the time all-together.
DO YOU HAVE A LIMIT ON HOW MANY KIDS I CAN HAVE AT MY PARTY?
No. Unlike many of the other character companies out there, we do not put a limit on how many kids a character can entertain. However, if you are expecting more than 15 kids, we highly recommend adding an additional character. This ensures the kids get enough one-on-one time with the Princesses, and helps the makeovers, tattoos, or face painting move more quickly. It is important that you communicate with us how many little guests you are expecting, so we can bring the right amount of supplies and plan accordingly.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?
Deposits of $50 are non-refundable, however, rescheduling is no problem as long as the new date and time do not interfere with our other bookings. Should you need to reschedule your event To cancel your booking, just contact us prior to one week before your party date.
WHAT IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER THE DAY OF MY PARTY?
Our performers do not perform outside during inclement weather. If your party is outdoors, we encourage the party host to have a backup plan, so the party can still go on! The safety of you and your guests and our performers comes first. Should you need to reschedule your booking due to inclement weather or dangerous driving conditions, we will work our hardest to reschedule your booking for the time and date you request.
HOW LONG DOES FACE PAINTING TAKE?
We typically estimate 3-4 minutes per child. If you have 15 kids at your party, that's at least 45 minutes of face painting. This is why we only offer it at the Platinum and Diamond package levels, so the character has enough time to play games and do other activities with the kids. You can add another character to your booking to shorten the amount of time spent on face painting. You can also add a dedicated face painter so the princess can entertain the children while they wait their turn.
HOW MUCH EXTRA WILL I BE CHARGED FOR THE MILEAGE FEE?
We are based in Vacaville (zip code 95687) and if the party address is 15 miles or greater from our Castle, we do charge a $15+ mileage fee for the extra travel time and gas.
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR COSTUMES FROM?
All of our costumes are all custom hand made by our Fairy Godmother, a professional seamstress from scratch just for us! We use the best fabrics and materials, and use high quality adornments for the fabric such as Swarovski Crystals. For specialty items such as wigs we buy extremely high quality custom items that are theme park or movie quality. We go to great lengths to provide the authenticity you and your child would expect of a fairytale princess! We are the real deal and have invested tens of thousands of dollars in costuming and wigs.
CAN I HIRE A CHARACTER FOR A PUBLIC EVENT, SUCH AS A CHARITY, CITY, OR SCHOOL EVENT?
Absolutely! We love to get out into the community and bless as many children as we can!
WHAT OTHER SERVICES CAN THE CHARACTER DO AT THE PARTY?
Your character can assist you with anything you may need, within reason, and as long as time allows. The activites we have planned will fill the entire amount of time the Princess or character is there, so there is never a dull moment. If you'd prefer her to help serve the cake, hand out your favor bags, assist with gift opening, lead a game you have planned, or any other special requests, we would be happy to replace our pre-planned activities with those you are requesting. Just make sure to communicate that to us during the planning stages of your party, so we can make your performer aware of what is expected of her.
WHAT GAMES DO YOU PLAY WITH THE KIDS?
Each party is unique, but we do variations of Duck Duck Goose, Dancing Games, Simon Says, Freeze Tag and other exciting games your guests are sure to enjoy! If you have a special request, just ask!
